Higene Plus Integrated Services
Higene plus is a waste management servicing company located in the north of Nigeria. This group project was carried out by a three-man team with different backgrounds collaborating to create a viable solution within the allocated time

Challenge: Client wants an app that could collate financial records of his cutomers to enable him expand his business when the time arises. He also wants the app to show the other services rendered by the company
User Persona
Solution: A SWOT analysis of our client was taken to determine their strenghts, oppoetunties and weakness. With the SWOT analysis we found out that they have an online presence with their site domain, Facebook and LinkedIn which was a great opportunity to be developed further. After empathizing with both our client and customers, we did a user persona, user journey to futher come up with ideas to define the challenge better.
During product design ideation, We came up with a web app that would be enabled into the site for good services visible to the customers and also allowing customers to choose other services rendered by the company. It was also created to collect the order history of customers for our client to enable future expansion. Our solution also included the needs of the customers in terms of getting professionals to dispose their waste.
Before prototyping, we came up with the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and after that we carried out the Product requirement Document (PRD), which defined the features of the product and the reasons we used those features.
After I and my team developed the product solution, I decided to play with some design creating a mobile app.

Reflections
During the duration of the clients design, some of my key takeaways where:

We get better in designing everyday when we practice. i now have eyes for better UI design as i practice more.

Team communication is key, still learning that though to get better.

Customer is always right. Even as we try to implement the request of the client, we should also try to put into focus the user.

Ensure an extensive market research is conducted to better understand the needs of the customers.

Diversity of knowledge and ideas is a must coupled with inclusivity of team members from different works of live. The ideas of each member of the team should be pooled to come up with a better solution that would fit the purpose of the project.
